Partner 2: Euro Info Centre ALMI
Euro Info Centre ALMI is part of the European EIC network that consists of 300 regional offices covering the European Union. EIC ALMI´s mission is to assist and advice SMEs in Kronoberg, Kalmar and Blekinge County in their efforts to grow on the European market.
EIC ALMI is the Swedish RDA partner in the BBDN project and has an active role in WP1 and WP3.

Wismar is not only a traditional hanseatic town with a nice flair and colourful fishing boats, but also an economical and cultural centre of the region. In 2002 the historical parts of Stralsund and Wismar were included in the world heritage of UNESCO.

Agency for Technology-transfer and Furtherance of Innovations
The company pursues the purpose to support founders and entrepreneurs in their build-up as well as in the case of growth and stabilization attempts in the area of Westmecklenburg.

Partner 5: Finnish School of SME Business Administration
Finnish School of SME Business Administration is dedicated to educate internationally oriented professionals especially for management of small and medium-sized companies in Finland by offering a BBA-degree programme in SME Business Management.
We are the responsible partner of WP2 and will also contribute to the implementation of WP4.

Partner 6: South Ostrobothnia Chamber of Commerce
South Ostrobothnia Chamber of Commerce is one of the 21 regional chambers of commerce in Finland. Its main activities are to promote and support the economic life of South Ostrobothnia by representing a wide spectrum of local enterprises.
The region of South Ostrobothnia with its 200.000 inhabitants is well-known for its entrepreneurship and high density of small and medium sized enterprises.
The main businesses are wood and furniture production, metal industry, food production and food technology.

Partner 7: Szczecin University
Szczecin University, the biggest higher education institution in north-west Poland, is striving for a high position in the hierarchy of Polish universities.
Presently, over 36.000 students are following full-time, evening and part-time studies at seven faculties. The University employs 1.185 academic teachers, incl. 251 professors.
Szczecin University is a partner in WP4.

Partner 8: INFRAPARK Police S.A.
INFRAPARK Police S.A. – the Police Industrial Park, covers 227 ha of investment area divided into 19 zones. Investors are provided with lots of 1.5 to 80 ha. The main advantage of the park is its location with the access to roads, sea and inland transportation facilities. Its attractiveness is improved by the access to the technical infrastructure of Police S.A. Chemical Plants and preferential investment provisions.
The Police Industrial Park is one of the first companies in Poland which successfully applied for the EU sources.

Partner 10: Lithuanian Development Agency for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises
Lithuanian Development Agency for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEDA) − a public institution, created in 1996, is the national SME support agency with its main objective − to support the development of small and medium sized business.
In its every day activity SMEDA is responsible for accumulating and disseminating business related information, initiating and administrating the provision of subsidized consultancy and training services to entrepreneurs, coordinating the Business Support Nework, etc.
SMEDA is included as a Partner of the BBDN-project. SMEDA is also expected to be responsible for WP3.

Partner 11: Kaliningrad International Business Institute (KIBI)
KIBI aims to solve the management issues of real business in an efficient way regardless its size and industry, level of developments and deepness of the problems it has. We are ready to offer a toolbox for each client according to his problems which can help to develop his personal skills as a manager and a person and to increase business efficiency as whole.
Together with the RDA KIBI gives the Russian contribution to WP4 and WP5.

Partner 12: Kaliningrad Regional Development Agency
Kaliningrad Regional Development Agency is a non-profit organization established for the purpose of giving expert and independent assistance in the area of regional economic development.
The RDA aims to be the major player in leading reforms based on the economic research, intelligence, planning and business support needed for the transformation from the current position to the Oblast vision. By 2012, Kaliningrad Oblast will be a fully developed modern economy, ranked among the top 5 Regions in Russia in term of GRP, with strong and progressive economic relations with the surrounding EU member countries.

Partner 15: Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
LCCI is a non-governmental voluntary organization uniting Latvian businesses of various sectors country wide. It operates in accordance with internationally accepted principles of Chambers of Commerce, promoting sound business environment and representing interests of its members as well as offering relevant business services. More than 1.000 Latvian enterprises are members of LCCI, including leading companies in each industrial sector of Latvia. More than 85% of the members are small and medium sized companies.
